Port Caisson Formwork

Since subsection precast caisson has the advantages of short cycle time of formwork, few labor capacity of each kind of work, rapid progress, and pumping concrete to meet the limit of free dump height. Port caisson formwork is widely used in port and wharf construction .
The concrete caisson is made up of dry prefabricated compartments with top openings, which are usually floated to their final location and then sunk to the seabed. Bulkheads are usually filled with sand and sometimes with concrete or gravel.The superstructure can be solid cast-in-place concrete parapet wall or reinforced concrete retaining wall, backfilled behind the wall, and the top is paved with concrete.
Port caisson formwork includes the side mould, inner mould, construction platform, connecting structure etc.
